Striking workers are thought to be the cause of multiple attacks on various water infrastructure run by the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewers Authority, a government-owned water agency. One attack destroys water pipes connected to two major refineries, while another leaves a large portion of the City of San Juan without running water for an entire day. The attacks are attributed to a group known as the Armed Forces for National Liberation, however no direct link has been made proving their connection.
